the trousers are not what they look like on the internet but the trouser is all round good. The bottom half is waterproof but the upper bit near the zip and buttons is not. yet to try in thorns and briers but material feels tough. wouldn't wear in heavy rain or rain all day but would be good in little showers. warm but not too warm and hard to get over boots.
